The house is located in the Uribe-Butrón region, in the municipality of Laukiz. It has a farm of 1 hectare crossed by a stream. It is surrounded by forests of native oaks and hidden in a valley that isolates it from roads and traffic noise, as well as great privacy.
Laukiz is a strategically well located town; 15 minutes from Bilbao, and from different beaches, such as Sopelana, Getxo, Plentzia or Bakio.
It is also 20 minutes from San Juan de Gaztelugatxe,
Laukiz is a municipality that has many famous and high quality restaurants where you can taste good traditional Basque cuisine, and where weddings, communions, etc ...
It also has several riding schools where there are usually equestrian competitions and a pediment where you can see traditional stone and Basque ball drag competitions.
Near Laukiz, we can visit the famous medieval castle of Butrón. It is a must-see romanticism construction. Next to Uribe-Butrón is the Uribe-Kosta region with its beaches where surfing and paragliding can be practiced, as well as interesting routes for cycling or walking.
