Situated in the pretty traditional village of Agios Nikitas, this delightful, stone built property has splendid countryside views and has been furnished to a high standard, coming highly recommended. It is a fifteen minute walk into the village with a pretty beach, pedestrianized cobbled streets and a whole host of tavernas, bars and shops to wander around. Athina is set in a tranquil location on a small hillside offering wonderful views across the lush green neighbouring valley and down to the turquoise blue sea, best enjoyed from the swimming pool terrace. For stunning sea views, the first floor balconies are perfect for admiring the sunsets, with an aperitif or two! The interiors are equally impressive, with a charming French "Provenal" style theme; pretty gingham blinds, a four poster double bed and a rustic chic ambience. The West coast boasts some of the best beaches in the Ionian Islands; Kathisma, Kalamitsi,Pefkoulia, Egremini and Porto Katsiki to name just a few, with white powdery sand and aquamarine seas, it is a joy to hop in the car and find out your favourite. The islands bustling capital, Lefkada Town, can be reached within a 20 minute drive, where the busy harbour front and narrow side streets buzz with restaurants and shops, street bars and cafes, a delight to explore.
