Region: From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britains best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.
Town: Findhorn was at one time a very busy fishing port and preserves it connections with the sea today; much of the village life still revolves around the bay, due to sailing and watersports, as the village is home to the Royal Findhorn Sailing Club. Its scenic location, together with its gentle climate, due to the influence of the Gulf Stream, makes it a desirable destination. Findhorn boast two pubs, two cafes, an organic bakery and a village store.
