The development is security patrolled and has a private beach and lake that is stocked with trout and bass (PA fishing license is required).
30 minutes or less from skiing, snowboarding, tubing, canoeing, whitewater rafting, fishing, water parks, Pocono raceway, ATV/UTV trails, paintball, shooting ranges, state hunting land, Jim Thorpe, Camelback, shop to you drop at the outlet mall, and so much more! New 60k BTU Ductless AC/Heat installed. 4 TVs, 3 with Amazon fire stick with Netflix, Ccloud live TV and other add-ons, 4th TV has Wii gaming system in downstairs BR.
Beautiful open floor plan with panoramic view through huge windows and sliding glass doors to wrap around deck from Kit, LR, Dinning area. Kitchen fully equipped with stove, fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, George Forman grill, blender, plenty of dishes, pots, pans, cups, glasses, utensils of all types. Bedding and towels provided. Propane stove/fireplace for one touch ambiance and heat. No messing with wood and cleaning the fireplace needed. If sitting around a camp fire making smores is on your to-do list fear not, there is an outside pit in the back for your enjoyment. Wood supplied.
You can use house except back storage room on 1st floor. This room is locked and off limits. Electrical panel access is via outside rear back door. All Keys are in lockbox.
Laundry room with washer and dryer available. Please bring your own detergent. BBQ is up on the deck for your use. Please roll it away from house before use. If propane is empty you can refill at Dollar General or most other stores. Additional folding chairs, table, fans, child gates are located in closet on 1st floor.
This home is in the private community of Brier Crest Woods. Please review all questions in the requirements section. This information is mandatory before the community will grant approval to rent here.
I viewed many homes in many communities. Why I decided to purchase this home in Brier Crest Woods, is its peace and tranquility. The friendliness of the people. The house is somewhat unique and cozy for a chalet type of home. Large 1 acre lot with two vacant lots to the right make it very private. The community is security patrolled and requires all residents to abide by the rules. This keeps BCW safe and fun for all.
The community is small and lake Shangri-La is not far. A bike will work fine. ATVs and golf carts are allowed. Trailer it if you own one. However they must be registered at the community center. The community does have age restrictions on operating these vehicles on the community streets. Please inquire.
If your booking for any holiday weekend there is 3 night minimum. If your booking between xmas and new years 4 night minimum stay required. Discount is available for any booking of a week or more.
8 Beach and facility passes are provided free. $10 fee will be assessed for each lost/missing pass.
8 people is the maximum number of people allowed. As stated in rules, parties and events are not permitted. If more people are found to occupy house then what was reserved you forfeit your security deposit and/or a $100 per person per day fee will be assessed. Pets are not permitted. If a pet is brought onto property a fee of $100 per pet per day will be assessed and possible loss of security deposit.
Check-out requirements. Cleaning fee covers community rental fees and basic cleaning after check out. Please clean all used kitchen dishes, glasses utensils and appliances used. If dirty kitchen items are left tenant will be assessed additional charges. Towels and bedding should be placed in provided hampers. 2 circuit breakers turned on when arrived should be turned off and keys returned to lockbox. All windows should be closed. Lights, AC/heat should be turned off. Small Light on back door and 2 small lights up on deck have dusk to dawn bulbs and remain on. Your adherence to check-out will be greatly appreciated.
