Welcome to Woodpecker's Barn, our delightful detached barn conversion built of natural Cornish stone with plenty of room for four. Located near the pretty village of St Keyne, it's just three miles from Liskeard and close to the well-known historic fishing ports of Looe, Polperro and Fowey.
Our lovingly restored barn is situated on Killigorrick Farm in the Looe Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty renowned for its peace and tranquillity. It's perfect for exploring the charms of South Cornwall or for simply relaxing amongst glorious countryside close to the sea.
Guests are greeted with an open plan living space comprising a well-equipped kitchen, dining and sitting area with a wood burning stove. The beautiful high pitched ceiling with original exposed timbers and oak flooring is a great feature of the ground floor.
The spacious ground floor double bedroom with 5' bed and lower ground floor twin bedroom both benefit from their own adjacent bathrooms. We can also provide a travel cot and highchair if you have a little one in tow, although cot linen is not provided.
Outside, the large garden is a delightful spot to sit and relax in at any time of day with a sunny patio providing the perfect place for alfresco dining in peace and tranquillity.

Brilliant in all seasons and the ideal setting for Autumn and Winter breaks, a New Year gathering or Christmas morning. From country walks to Christmas markets, the outdoors can be enjoyed at the most unexpected times. The house is warm and cosy with central heating, a wood burning stove and comfortable beds.
Close to Liskeard and just a short distance from the picturesque fishing villages of Polperro and Looe.
Secluded sandy beaches along the south coast are just a short drive away.

There are many quaint country pubs and restaurants within a short drive including The Plough in Duloe, only 5 minutes’ drive away.
Items left behind - There is a charge of £10 to cover packing and our time in returning these items, plus postage costs. Unless claimed, all items will be kept for 1 month and then sent to a charity shop.
