from Moorish architecture. The aristocratic villas of the center are a direct legacy of migratory flows

inhabitants of Civiasco have imported the architectural style of Barcelona and Madrid, delivering to the
a unique and surprising architectural heritage.
The village is about 700 meters above sea level and stretches on a sunny slope dotted with meadows and woods
of beech trees. Among its paved streets, ancient oratories and finely decorated wash houses are restaurants,
bar, a grocery store, a playground equipped with tennis courts, football, volleyball, paths
health. From Civiasco it is possible to go along hiking trails through the nearby woods. The country is
moreover the point of arrival of the via Ferrata del Falconera and the starting point of the via Ferrata del
Partasacc.
Just 5 km from Varallo, the main urban and cultural center of Valsesia famous for its Sacred
Monte, Civiasco is in a great position along the Colma scenic road, which connects the
town at Lake Orta, reachable within 20 minutes by car. It is also an access point for the Upper Valley
with its famous ski resorts such as Mera and Alagna Valsesia, part of the Monte area
Rosa Ski.
